The RoundBaltic project held its third national roundtable in Denmark on 22 May 2023. The purpose of the national roundtable was to bring together key actors for a dialogue on financing energy renovations in homes and transition to green heat sources, to discuss needed frameworks for the efforts and possible concrete actions.

The purpose of the regional roundtable was to bring together key players for a dialogue on financing the green transition in rural districts and SMEs in the region.
31 October 2022 – Copenhagen, East Denmark
TThe roundtable had a particular focus on the collective heat pump system “Thermonet”, which is a promising solution for rural areas. Concrete initiatives were presented and the need for further initiatives to support Thermonet systems together with energy renovations were debated.

The national RoundBaltic gathered 33 participants representing various key stakeholders. Two parallel topic sessions were held: 1: Private homes; 2: Business / SMEs. The roundtable had a specific focus on supporting investment projects at the regional level in relation to the conclusions from the regional roundtables held in the second half of 2021.
11 May 2022 – Copenhagen
The national roundtable focused on the need for attracting supplementary private financing for the green transition in the social housing sector. It addressed the possible integration of ESCO related solutions, the interaction with a new Green Guarantee Scheme, and the possibility of using green loans from the financial sector (mortgage and pension companies) supplementing the National Building Fund.
