Promoting Deep Renovation in Multi Family Buildings and Public Buildings

Possibilities for a standardised approach to energy efficiency financing

Thursday, 10th November, 2022, from 09.00 am - 12.00 pm CET (10.00 - 13.00 Riga time), Online from Riga

On November 10, 2022, the Latvian Environmental Investment Fund in cooperation with RoundBaltic project partners organized an online Learning Event on how to promote deep renovation in multi-apartment and public buildings ‒ Possibilities for a standardized approach to energy efficiency financing. 

The event gathered more than 80 registered participants from Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and other European Union countries and institutions present in this event, representing state, municipal and financial institutions, as well as private sector and service providers.

The following topics were touched upon:

  1. Update on policy making level from EU perspective
  2. Examples and good practice at national level
  3. Clarification, guidance, and recommendations from financial sector

The scope of this learning event is to promote  awareness for implementation of deep renovation in multi-apartment and public buildings as well as better understanding of using sustainable materials, implementing national incentives, be aware of legislative changes and standardized energy efficiency standards.

Learning events in RoundBaltic

The scope of RoundBaltic is to address key aspects that can help accelerating energy efficiency investments in Poland, Latvia and Denmark as well as across the entire Baltic Sea Region (BSR) covering public and private buildings as well as the SME sector. The learning events will explore the specific challenges and solutions of these target countries and the prospects of replication in the BSR and EU wide.
