On March 2, 2023, the Latvian Environmental Investment Fund in cooperation with local partners organized the fourth regional round table discussion (the second held in the Vidzemes region)  on attracting private funding for energy efficiency – “Next steps in financing public sector energy efficiency measures”, which is being organized within the framework of the Horizon 2020 project “Promoting the implementation of the Smart Finance Initiative for Smart Buildings in the Baltic region – Poland, Latvia and Denmark – RoundBaltic”.

The event is a follow-up to the 3rd Regional Round Table that was held on January 13, 2023 (60 participants – stakeholders from the energy efficiency and financial sector, as well as policy makers).

The Fourth Regional Round Table was held on-line and split into 2 parts according to the RoundBaltic round table concept: there is a main part followed by 2 parallel sessions.  The parallel working group sessions were open for all the interested parties that wished to apply, but, as before, some invited participants, representatives of the field and experts were also hosted.

The event convened 84 registered participants from 53 organizations.
