On January 12, 2023, the Latvian Environmental Investment Fund in cooperation with local partners organized the third round table discussion on attracting private funding for energy efficiency – “The municipality as the main catalyst for the implementation of energy efficiency measures”, which is being organized within the framework of the Horizon 2020 project “Promoting the implementation of the Smart Finance Initiative for Smart Buildings in the Baltic region – Poland, Latvia and Denmark – RoundBaltic”.

The event is a follow-up to the 2^nd National Round Table that was held on May 25, 2022, and it hosts more than 60 participants, stakeholders from the energy efficiency and financial sector, as well as policy makers.

The Third Regional Round Table was held on-line and split into 2 parts according to the RoundBaltic round table concept: there is a main part followed by 2 parallel sessions.  The parallel working group sessions were open for all the interested parties that wished to apply, but, as before, some invited participants, representatives of the field and experts were also hosted.

The event convened 84 registered participants from 60 organizations.
