On March 2, 2023, the Latvian Environmental Investment Fund in cooperation with local partners organized the fourth regional round table discussion on attracting private funding for energy efficiency – and under the topic ““Next steps in financing public sector energy efficiency measures””

23 March 2023 – Hybrid
The second Regional Roundtable on Energy Efficiency Financing in the Mazowieckie region took place on 22 March 2023, stationary in Warsaw and online ( hybrid). 43 participants attended in person and 54 online representing local goverments ( 64), financial sector ( 20) and other experts. The event included three discussion rounds, adressing topics like e.g. RePower EU Program, European Funds, ELENA Programme etc..

On January 12, 2023, the Latvian Environmental Investment Fund in cooperation with local partners organized the third regional round table discussion on attracting private funding for energy efficiency – and under the topic “The municipality as the main catalyst for the implementation of energy efficiency measures”

The previous roundtables during SEI Forums and RoundBaltic have highlighted cross-municipal/regional collaborations as advantageous structures in relation to assisting the SMEs in connection with planning and implementation of energy efficiency measures.

31 October 2022 – Copenhagen, East Denmark
TThe roundtable had a particular focus on the collective heat pump system “Thermonet”, which is a promising solution for rural areas. Concrete initiatives were presented and the need for further initiatives to support Thermonet systems together with energy renovations were debated.

Structured engagement at the regional level has proven to be a highly effective strategy for facilitating initiatives aimed at financing energy efficiency measures. 22 September 2022
The national RoundBaltic gathered 33 participants representing various key stakeholders. Two parallel topic sessions were held: 1: Private homes; 2: Business / SMEs. The roundtable had a specific focus on supporting investment projects at the regional level in relation to the conclusions from the regional roundtables held in the second half of 2021.

The scope of the learning event was to assess the use of Energy Performance Certificates as a tool to promote financing of energy efficiency measures
